Woodland Malm 2
Woodland Malm 2
The Collaborative Mini Malm Burner series is aimed at working with other artists to create a crossover body of work. I hope that the outcome is a bunch of amazing pieces, plus, it will be a way to cross promote our work to each others audience!
The June 2024 Collaborative Artist is Lori Phillips

Lori is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but relocated to a small town in south-central Kentucky with her mom when she was 12. Fortunately, her high school had a solid art department, where she first got her hands on clay in 1999, at the age of 15βan experience that left a lasting impression. In 2011, she moved from Kentucky to Dallas, Texas, where she pursued and earned her MFA. After completing her degree, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 2014, where she has been residing ever since.
Since October 2016, Lori has been working out of a home studio owned by a friend and fellow potter in Phoenix. She rents a small apartment directly above the studio and shares this space with her partner, Liam. In October 2018, she made the decision to leave her job at MAC Cosmetics and transitioned to being a full-time, self-employed potter.
