Below, you'll discover the finished collections of these distinctive pieces, along with insights into the talented collaborators behind them. The collaborations are listed most recent to oldest.
February 2024- Renee LoPresti
Renee LoPresti grew up in rural northwest New Jersey. In 2009, she earned her BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in ceramics and glass. After graduating, she moved to Texas for a position as a production glassblower, yet continued to dream about working in clay again. Serendipitously, she later found Eye of the Dog Art Center in San Marcos, Texas where she has been working as an Artist in Residence for the past several years. She teaches workshops and shows her work through numerous national juried exhibitions, including the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts for the 21st National Ceramic Competition. In 2017, Renee was named one of Ceramics Monthly’s Emerging Artists.

January 2024- Carly Slade
Carly Slade grew up in "Big sky" Alberta, Canada. Her work is influenced by her blue-collar roots and plagued by a concern for the precarious nature of the working class. Using a mix of materials (most often including clay, embroidery, and building supplies), Slade creates dioramas of real places in an unreal perspective. She received her MFA from San Jose State University and her BFA from the Alberta University of the Arts. Slade is currently an Assistant Professor and Area Head at California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, in Arcata, CA, USA.

October 2023- Meredith Host
Meredith Host produces contemporary tableware and textiles with retro flair. She is drawn to bold colors and overlapping layers and finds inspiration in mid-century modern design, as well as overlooked domestic patterns (a.k.a. toilet paper & paper towels). Meredith lives in Kansas City, MO, works on her "Host for Home" homewares line, and is a founding member of the Kansas City Urban Potters.

September 2023- Rain Harris
Rain Harris is a sculptor and installation artist living in Kansas City. Her work is spurred by an analytical interest in the ironies associated with excess and class, which become interpreted visually through color, pattern and decoration.

July 2023- The very first Collaborative Artist was ME!
To start this series, I thought it only right to collaborate with one artist that would’t need a lot of coaxing, because that artist is ME! I create a line of Shelfie Mini Malm Burners.
